At one of my previous events I watched the hotel staff throw out hundreds of dollars worth of uneaten and unused food. I decided in that moment to not close my eyes to the truth. I spoke with the staff at the hotel and they were willing to work with me in my efforts to give back. They so graciously boxed sandwiches, salads and began an assembly line. I then went out to the city and delivered these meals to those who needed the most.

I am so grateful for the staff at Marriott for understanding and believing in the greater good of people! I hope to work with other hotel chains to cotinue to be a blessing to others in a greater capicity.
